The Square Root of Gardening was set up in 2005 by Derek Macpherson.  Derek has a wealth of client facing experience, having spent many years working in the IT and Telecommunication Industries.  “Customer Service is paramount to how we operate and we aim to provide a reliable, quality service at all times”.

In May 2011 we changed our name to The Garden Makeover Company to reflect the expanding range of services we are now able to offer our customers.  Our business has grown from carrying out both domestic and commercial garden maintenance to carrying out garden design, planting plans, sourcing plants, planting up schemes, lawn treatments and tree surgery.  We are also currently developing our new website www.thegardenmakeover.com which will provide a wealth of information on gardening as well as unusual and bespoke garden products and hope to launch this soon.
